Service was fast and friendly. Old school vibe and atmosphere. Great for dine in or takeout. The food was amazingly good! I had the "whole lot a burger" and onion rings.

Very old. Floors are sticky. Booth chairs are torn. Black & white tiles on counter are falling off. Weren’t sure when we walked in because there was only one customer but really wanted a homemade root beer float. DELICIOUS. Tasted like real root beer and they used creamy soft serve ice cream. The shrimp and catfish po-boys were so satisfying. Really hit the spot. The onion rings were thin cut and crispy, just like the good days before they became monster sized and covered in thick batter. While we were eating, the place got packed. Really shined at that point because now we know, it’s a local joint and the locals know yummy food lives there. Old but clean. Friendly people. Great music too. Ordered fried okra to go to top off.

Always pleasant to come here. I have been going to this diner ever since I was a child. Now bringing my own children here feels nostalgic. The food still great, reasonably priced, friendly customer service and the foods still good and made fresh. Always great to have a place you can go, that reminds you of your childhood; when the world seemed much more simpler and friendly.

While the building needs a bit of love, the staff and their food offer a lot of happiness! We had a burger and a po-boy sandwich, and they were delicious. We also tried their floating ice drinks and oh man that’s something different. The icecream was really nice. The place has a great authentic retro feel, which we loved. But as mentioned, could use some new tiles here and there hehe. If you’re in the area, be sure to get some here!

The folks working here are the best. If you're looking for a good burger for a reasonable price, it's worth a trip off the freeway. The atmosphere is pretty plain, but that doesn't detract from the tasty burgers served fresh from the grill. The person taking my order had some nice words about the large group of high school kids I brought in. It's a shame kindness like this is so rare these days. I'd make a point to go back if I'm back in the area.

Been here two days in a row and the shrimp poboy was delicious both times. Service was very friendly, and food came out fast. My grandfather is very picky and even he said it was the best catfish poboy he’s had. It is definitely an old building, but I think it adds to the charm. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. 11 for a 6 inch poboy, fries and a drink is much better than paying 10 for a meal from McDonald’s
